The Terry Fox Foundation, which has raised more than $1 billion to fund cancer research, has launched an initiative to provide philanthropic funding to innovative startup firms, a first-of-its-kind venture capital partnership to bridge the gap between lab research and commercialized medical breakthroughs. The Terry Fox Research Institute is working to accelerate the delivery of life-saving precision medicine to cancer patients across Canada.
