Virtual Classroom connects Canada and Hong Kong

Canada and Hong Kong have concluded four days of interactive classroom sessions utilizing the advanced research and education networks of both countries. The Virtual Classroom sessions connected students in various locations in Canada with students assembled in the Canada Pavilion at the Telecom Asia Conference in Hong Kong. Students used advanced videoconferencing technology to interact in real time. Mounting the Canadian portion of the project were the Communications Research Centre, CANARIE Inc and CA*net 4 (its latest high-speed research network) and Telesat Canada.
