FedDev refunds YLF-delivered manufacturing fund

FedDev Ontario is providing the Yves Landry Foundation (YLF) with $9 million to continue delivering the Achieving Innovation and Manufacturing Excellence Global initiative. The program is designed to assist export-oriented manufacturers with employee training in support of the adaptation of new technologies, processes and procedures that boost productivity and competitiveness. It provides up to 50% of project costs to a maximum of $50,000 with participating companies providing at least an equal match for an additional $16 million. The YLF previously received $18 million from FedDev to deliver the program which was launched in 2009....
