Carl Roy has been appointed president and CEO of bioLytical Laboratories, a Vancouver-based developer of rapid HIV diagnostic products. Roy comes to bioLytical from Perceptronix Medical Inc, where he helped shift the company's strategic focus from R&D to product commercialization in less than one year. He is also former president and CEO of Providence Health Care. Roy will lead bioLytical's efforts to commercialize its HIV diagnostic products globally, in particularly its HIV1 rapid antibody test. He holds a masters of health science administration from the Univ of Toronto and is a certified health executive….
