Ottawa biotech centre cuts deal with IBM Canada

The Ottawa Biotechnology Incubation Centre (OBIC) has selected IBM Canada Ltd as its preferred provider of information technology and services. The new Centre has already installed IBM technology at its new 1,800-sq-m Greenbelt Research Farm facility — the first of two area incubators offering laboratory and office space to portfolio firms. Under the agreement, IBM will provide discounts on hardware and software, as well as expertise in high performance computing, data management, consulting, storage management and collaboration with IBM researchers.
