Nanotech agreements inked between Quebec & Japanese

Three Quebec institutions have signed agreements with the Shinshu Univ (Nagano Prefecture) to strengthen linkages for nano-technology research. The agreements with the Univ of Montreal, Concordia Univ and the CTT Group (Saint Hyacinthe CEGEP's Centre of Excellence for Textile Technologies, Geosynthetics and Flexible Materials) follow two agreements signed in 2007 and 2009 between NanoQuébec and Japanese partners. Shinshu Univ is a pioneer in nanotubes and Montreal is host to a key nano-tube conference later in 2010. The agreements are aimed at accelerating nanotech development in nanoelectronics, nanomaterials and value-added textiles....
