Dr Darin Graham has been appointed president and CEO of ORANO and the Ontario Research and Innovation Optical Network (ORION), effective August 1st. Graham returns to Canada after several years in New Zealand where he was director of NZi3, New Zealand's ICT Innovation Institute. He was president and CEO of the former Communications and Information Technology Institute (CITO) — one of several centres within the Ontario Centres of Excellence before its restructuring. Graham holds a PhD and Masters of Engineering from Univ of Toronto and a BSc from Univ of Waterloo. Graham replaces founding president and CEO Phil Baker….

Adalsteinn (Steini) Brown has been appointed acting ADM of research and strategic policy at Ontario's Ministry of Research and Innovation. Formerly ADM at the Ministry of Health, Brown will focus on renewing the province's innovation agenda, particularly its integration with health planning....
