Dr Clément Fortin

Dr Clément Fortin has been appointed president and CEO of the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec (CRIAQ), replacing Dr André Bazergui who held the positions since January/04. Fortin is head of the mechanical engineering department at École Polytechnique and a professor there since 1987. A former pilot in the Canadian Armed Forces (1975-1980), Fortin holds a mechanical engineering degree from the Royal Military College, a master's of applied science degree in aeronautical engineering from the Univ of Toronto and a PhD in mechanical engineering (vehicle dynamics) from Queen's Univ….
