Celtic House launches media communications fund

Celtic House Venture Partners has closed a $105-million fund that will invest in promising early-stage media communications technology (MCT). This is the fourth fund launched by Celtic House, which currently manages three other funds with $425 million in assets. Fund IV is backed by the Ontario Venture Fund, Teralys Capital, Export Development Canada and BDC Venture Capital. Firms approved for funding will receive access to Celtic House's MCT-focused portfolio of firms and its global business network. Celtic House was established in 1994 by Terry Matthews and has generated more than 20 initial public offerings and acquisitions….
