Start-Up Visa program adds entrepreneurship stream

The Start-Up Visa (SUV) program has added a business incubator stream to its offerings designed to connect Canadian business incubators with immigrant entrepreneurs. The Citizenship and Immigration Canada program will "target early-stage and high growth businesses and entrepreneurs who can contribute to a culture of innovation and commercialization in Canada" and complement existing venture capital and angel investor streams. Eligible incubator programs will be designed by CIC in conjunction with the Canadian Association of Business Incubation.
