Ontario-India seeking life sciences projects

The Ontario component of the Canada-India Agreement for Scientific and Technological Cooperation has issued a call for proposals for collaborative projects in all areas of the life sciences and medical devices sectors. Funded on the Ontario side by the Ontario-India Research Collaboration Fund, Canadian participants in successful projects can receive up to 50% of eligible costs to a maximum of $300,000. Indian financial support comes from the Department of Biotechnology. Publicly funded organizations can receive up to 100% of eligible costs up to $300,000, while Indian companies can receive up to 50%.
