James Milway has been appointed executive director of the Martin Prosperity Institute (MPI), a position he also holds with the Institute for Competitiveness and Prosperity (ICP). The MPI — formerly the Centre for Jurisdictional Advantage and Prosperity — is led by Dr Richard Florida and received $50 million from the Ontario government in its 2007 Budget (R$, April 24 & July 3/07). Milway will use his 30 years of experience in business and public policy to help determine how the two institutes will work together. He will also provide key support for MPI's study on the changing composition of Ontario's workforce which was announced in Ontario's 2008 Budget….
