France-Canada sign health, pandemic declaration

Canada and France have signed a joint declaration of intent to boost cooperation in the area pandemic influenza preparedness and strengthen their respective health care systems. The declaration was signed by Health minister Tony Clement and Xavier Bertrand, France's minister of health and solidarity. It includes sharing of information and communications technologies as they relate to e-health and telehealth. Potential future areas of cooperation include cancer, chronic disease management and mental health....
