Feds and Manitoba help fund UWin CREATE

The Univ of Winnipeg Commercialization Research and Education Alliance for Science, Technology and the Environment (UWin CREATE) has received $7 million in federal and provincial funding to establish 34 research and teaching labs. UWin CREATE will become a hub for a provincial network of Cisco TelePresence sites across the province, supported by Cisco Systems Canada Co and designed to commercialize opportunities emanating from the university's environmental science program.
