eMPOWR Canada officially launched

A new non-profit organization created to accelerate the growth of Canada's key high tech talent has been officially launched. eMPOWR Canada is a collection of universities, companies and associations that is asking the federal government for $500 million in funding to execute its ambitious strategy (R$, October 23 & September 15/00).
