Dr John Fallavollita

Dr John Fallavollita has been appointed director of Applied Research and Innovation Services (ARIS) at SAIT Polytechnic. Fallavollita will be responsible for the office's overall direction and greater engagement with large industry players for longer-term applied research projects with students. Since its formation ARIS has undertaken more than 200 projects and produced more than 280 prototypes. Fallavollita holds a PhD in chemical engineering from McGill Univ, holds six patents and has received several grants from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council.
