Dr Diane Gosselin has been appointed president and CEO of the Quebec Consortium for Drug Discovery (CQDM), a biopharmaceutical collaboration hub funded in part by the Business-Led Networks of Centres of Excellence program. Gosselin joined CQDM in 2008 as VP research and business development, responsible for establishing the organization's funding programs and managing its corporate development activities. She has more than 20 years experience in research and corporate financing, including Fonds de solidarité and PROCREA Biosciences. Gosselin holds a PhD in microbiology from the Univ of Montreal and an Executive MBA from the Univ of Quebec at Montreal. She replaces CQDM founding president and CEO, Dr Max Fehlmann, who left to head the recently established NÉOMED Institute (see page 3)….
