Dr Brian Unger has been selected for the public leadership award from CANARIE as part of its annual IWAY Awards, held last month in Halifax. Unger was chosen for his roles in developing high performance computing in Canada and founding C3.ca, Canada’s high-performance computing consortium. Unger is president and CEO of Calgary-based iCORE (Informatics Circle of Research Excellence).
