CIFAR launches Global Scholar competition

The Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) has launched a Global Scholar competition with financial support from the Azrieli Foundation. The competition will be awarded from applicants solicited from around the world. The program will fund a two-year, $100,000 research appointment aligned with one of CIFAR's research themes — bio-inspired solar energy, Azrieli program in brain, mind and consciousness, child and brain development, humans and the microbiome, institutions, organizations and growth, molecular architecture of life, quantum information science and quantum materials.
