CANARIE introduces new shared-cost competition

CANARIE Inc is contributing $900,000 in shared-cost funding for a competition for projects relating to innovative network applications or increased education and awareness regarding the Internet. The joint venture between Bell Canada and original members of the CA*net Institute Program is intended to contribute to the original CA*net vision of making the Canadian Internet one of the most advanced in the world. It is now being managed by CANARIE, which hopes to further the Internet's development, encourage Canadian content and promote the Internet for the public good....
