ATMOS nets $10 million for DRAM product development

ATMOS Corp, Kanata ON, has completed a US$10-million round of financing to accelerate development and marketing of its embedded memory solutions for system-on-a-chip (SoC) applications. The firm’s plans for dynamic random access memory (DRAM) products and design automation tools attracted investment of $5 million from Virage Logic Corp, Fremont CA. The remainder was provided by MOSAID Technologies Inc, Kanata ON, Ventures West, Vancouver, BDC Venture Capital and Eastern Technology Seed Investment Fund.
