Dr Gijs van Rooijen has been appointed the first chief scientific officer of Genome Prairie. The Dutch-born scientist received his MSc in molecular sciences from the Agricultural Univ in Wageningen and his PhD at the Univ of Calgary in the laboratory of Dr Maurice Maloney. His post-doctoral work was completed at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.…
