Precarn funds intelligent systems R&D projects

Precarn Inc has announced $668,000 in funding for 12 R&D projects aimed at getting intelligent systems products to market faster. As part of its iT-GAP program, the Precarn funding leverages more than $1.2 million from project partners Chosen from 52 proposals, the projects cover a wide range of technologies from physiology monitors that can be strapped to a patient's chest to a no-contact rock analyzer for the real-time testing of rock core samples.
