Milestone makes second-round investment in Salpep

Salpep Biotechnology Inc has received a second round of financing from Milestone Medica Corp, raising its financing to date to $1 million. The Calgary-based firm’s successful completion of preclinical milestones triggered the funding, by showing the efficacy of its anti-inflammatory compounds in pre-clinical models of asthma.
