Marcel Chartrand has been appointed VP communications at Genome Canada, replacing Anie Perrault. Chartrand was appointed director of communications at the Medical Research Council in 1997 and participated in its transition into the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). He left CIHR in 2002 to become a consultant specializing in health research. Chartrand is also a part-time professor of public relations and communications at St Paul Univ in Ottawa....
