Jac van Beek has been appointed VP programs and planning at the Canada Foundation for Innovation, filling a management vacancy created with the departure of Carmen Charette in 2006. van Beek brings to the CFI more than 20 years experience in strategic and business planning, organizational development and program evaluation. He comes to the CFI from the National Research Council, where he was director of planning performance management for five years and played a key role in the development of its strategic plan. He has been replaced at NRC on an interim basis by Alexandra Dagger....
