Honeywell launches $31.4M aircraft R&D project

Honeywell Canada is launching a $31.4-million R&D project into secondary electric power distribution (SEPD) systems for aircraft, with the assistance of $9.4 million from Technology Partnerships Canada. The SEPD project builds upon previous R&D the firm has conducted for commercial and military aircraft programs and will help it determine the future direction of its electric power technologies program.
