Dr Wendy Palen has been appointed board chair of Evidence for Democracy, an advocacy organization for openness and the transparent use of evidence in government decision-making. Palen is an associate professor of biological sciences at Simon Fraser Univ where she co-founded the Earth to Ocean Research Group. She holds a PhD in zoology from the Univ of Washington. Palen replaces Dr Scott Findlay, E4D's inaugural board chair….
