Dr Walter Wonham has been appointed to the US National Academy of Engineering (NAE), one of 10 new foreign associates. Wonham is a professor emeritus of electrical and computer engineering at the Univ of Toronto and is known for his work on the geometric linear theory of linear systems and for bridging the gap between control theory and computer science. The NAE has 2,195 members and 178 foreign associates….
