Dr Tim McTiernan

Dr Tim McTiernan has been appointed executive director of Innovations at University of Toronto (IUT), a new organization combining the former Innovations Foundation and the U of Ts internal technology transfer operations. He will also assume the position of assistant VP research, reporting to VP research Dr John Challis. The appointments are effective June 1. McTiernan comes to the U of T from the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation (MRI) where he held the post of assistant DM and chief operating officer.
