Dr Rose Goldstein

Dr Rose Goldstein has been appointed VP research at the Univ of Calgary, succeeding Dr Dennis Salahub whose five-year term ends June 30th. Goldstein is a professor and vice-dean academic affairs at the Univ of Ottawa and a medical doctor specializing in rheumatology. While serving in her new position, she will maintain a limited clinical practice in the faculty of medicine. Goldstein holds a BSc and MD from McGill Univ, with residency and fellowship training at the Univ of Toronto, Univ of Ottawa and Univ of Texas. The VP position under Salahub also included international which has been split off and re-named vice-provost international. Dr Tim Goddard has been appointed to that position and his immediate responsibility is to examine the U of C's various international activities and come forward with recommendations on their integration. Prior to his appointment, Goddard was associate dean (research and international) with U of C's faculty of education….
