Dr Donald Low has been appointed chair of the newly created National Advisory Committee on Chemical, Biological, Radio-Nuclear Safety, Security and Research. The committee will advise the federal Health minister on how to prepare and respond to potential bioterrorism events in Canada. He will also advise the president of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Low is head of the Univ of Toronto’s microbiology division in the department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology....
