Dr David Strangway has died at age 82 after a long career as a pioneering educator, research manager and space scientist. Strangway's accomplishments are extensive and varied, ranging from the presidency of the Univ of Brith Columbia and the Univ of Toronto to president of the Canada Foundation for Innovation and chief of NASA's geophysics branch. After transforming the CFI into a major force on the Canadian research landscape, he founded Quest Univ (formerly Sea Top Sky Univ) in Squamish BC in 2004, Canada's first secular private university and a major real estate play....
