COM DEV wins $12-million CASSIOPE contract from MDA

COM DEV International Ltd has received a $12-million contract from MacDonald Wettwiler & Associates Ltd (MDA) for an information delivery subsystem for the CASSIOPE space research mission. The contract for Ka-band communication technology is the first major contract between the two companies. MDA funding was provided by the Canadian Space Agency which is investing heavily in CASSIOPE.
