Six Canadian municipalities have been recognized as among the world's Smart 21 cities by the Intelligent Community Forum. The cities recognized by the ICF include Montreal, Toronto, Kingston, Quebec City, Winnipeg and Parkland County AB. The cities were evaluated by the criteria of broadband networks, innovation, knowledge workforce, digital inclusion and marketing and advocacy. This year's theme was culture. The ranking included four from both the US and Australia, three from Taiwan and one each from Kenya, Greece, Brazil and New Zealand. FMI: www.intelligentcommunity.org....
