Canada and India formalize S&T agreement

Canada and India have entered into a formal S&T agreement, following Canada’s decision to spend $6.75 million on collaborative R&D over the next five years through the Canada-India R&D and Innovation Program (R$, October 3/05). The pact is a legal entity that aligns with CAN-Trade, the $485-million, five-year international commerce strategy announced in the Economic Update.
