Brunswick to create health research foundation

The Government of New Brunswick is set to unveil a new provincial health plan that includes the creation of a health research foundation designed to boost its paltry spending on health research. New Brunswick ranks last in provincial health research spending and the foundation is designed to attract new federal, provincial and private sector funding. The foundation is also expected to enhance the expansion plans of the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute
