Bogdan Ciobanu

Bogdan Ciobanu has been named the new DG of the Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP), replacing Dr Tony Rahilly who is retiring after a five-year term. Ciobanu was previously executive director of IRAP for the Quebec region and joined IRAP in 1998. He holds a Masters in Engineering and an MBA. and has a management background in advanced manufacturing, design, consulting, product development and marketing. Ciobanu sits on the advisory board of the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance. He began his new position August 2nd….
