BC puts tech-support organizations under one roof

The British Columbia government has completed the co-location of six public sector and non-profit technology organizations under a single roof. The Leading Edge Technology Centre (LETC) is home to BC Biotech, BC Technology Industries Association, Leading Edge BC, BC Innovation Council (formerly Science Council of BC), AceTech (Academy for Chief Executive Officers of Technology Companies), Wireless Innovation Network of BC (WinBC) and BC Technology Social Venture Partners. The LETC is expected to result in improved infrastructure and cost savings, while facilitating communication and cooperation among organizations with similar objectives. The six founding organization were previously scattered throughout the greater Vancouver area….
