Andrew Thompson

Andrew Thompson has been appointed chief of government relations at the Univ of Toronto. Thompson is the first person to hold the new position, which was created by splitting for former position of VP international, government and institutional relations. Thompson had a varied public sector career in Saskatchewan, serving as an elected MLA and holding Cabinet positions for finance, learning and energy. He left government in 2007 and joined Cisco Systems Inc, leading the policy advocacy group for global education and heading up business development for Asia-Pacific Japan....
