Technology Partnerships Canada has invested $5.2 million in a $17.2-million R&D project by Kongsberg Mesotech Ltd, a developer and producer of high-resolution sonar systems and acoustic technology for defence applications. Kongsberg Mesotech Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kongsberg Maritime AS, a member of the Kongsberg Gruppen, a public company based in Oslo, Norway.
