Toronto virtual brain surgery training centre opens

The fourth in a series of seven virtual neurosurgery training centres has opened in Toronto utilizing high-definition haptic hardware technology developed by the National Research Council. The facility will be located at Toronto Western Hospital's Krembil Neuroscience Centre in collaboration with the University Health Network's International Centre for Tele- simulation and Innovation in Medical Education. Toronto joins Montreal, Ottawa and Halifax in operating virtual training centres with the reminder planned for London, Winnipeg and Calgary….
