SSRHC awards $163M for nearly 1,150 projects

Research into employment, an aging population and immigration are among the nearly 1,150 projects that received $163 million this month from four Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council programs: Partnership Grants, Partnership Development Grants, Insight Grants and Insight Development Grants. In one project, York Univ's Valerie Preston has teamed up with academic, government and social services partners to look at how social organizations can improve the settlement and well-being services they deliver to migrants.
