Saskatchewan and Hitachi sign nuclear medicine MOU

The Government of Saskatchewan has deepened its collaboration with Hitachi Ltd with a memorandum of understanding to pursue joint R&D of nuclear medicine technology. The MOU — and a separate agreement with Hitachi-GE Nuclear Energy Ltd, GE-Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas and Global Nuclear Fuel Americas — will receive $10 million from all parties. Potential projects are in the areas of nuclear safety, uranium recovery and design of small modular reactor technologies....
