SAIT Polytechnic receives $300 million from province

The Alberta government is investing $300 million in a $445-million Trades and Technology Complex (TTC) at the SAIT Polytechnic, for multidisciplinary programming in energy, construction and manufacturing. The TTC will provide 3,600 new training spaces that will engage 8,100 students annually in career-oriented training. It represents a 30% increase for certificate, diploma and applied degree spaces. The facility will feature new computer labs, leading-edge workshops, lecture theatres and classrooms. To date $26 million has been committed by the corporate sector....
