Three public utilities have committed $7 million in seed funding to establish the Centre for Urban Energy (CUE) at Ryerson Univ. The CUE will take a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to study a wide range of issues from demand management and local energy storage to carbon footprint reduction and smart infrastructure.
