PRECARN AND SRC LAUNCH JOINT FUNDING PROGRAM

PRECARN Associates Inc and the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) have joined forces with a $4-million program designed to stimulate R&D for intelligent systems technologies. To be administered by the SRC, the program will provide up to 75% of a project's cost up to $400,000 and reflects the broader scope of initiative undertaken by PRECARN since it received $20 million in new federal funding earlier this year (R$, March 17/00). The program gives PRECARN access to the Sask-atchewan market which it hopes will lead to new members for the not-for-profit, industry-led consortium.....
