Ontario unveils provincial water protection strategy

Ontario has unveiled a new strategy for the protection of water that builds upon the province's expertise in clean water technologies. The Water Sector Strategy aims to create efficient and affordable solutions for water conservation, attract foreign investment, encourage local firms to export technologies internationally and build a globally competitive water sector. Organizations cited to carry out the strategy's objectives include crown agencies Water TAP and the Ontario Clean Water Agency. The strategy will be a key element of an upcoming provincial trade mission to China, highlighting resident expertise and innovation. The mission will include 11 of Ontario's leading water companies and research institutions….
