NSERC renews support for neutron beam centre

A consortium of 10 universities led by McGill Univ has received $6.5 million in renewed funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council for access to the National Research Council's Canadian Neutron Beam Centre. The funding through NSERC's Major Resources Support program allows materials research scientists to use the Centre, located at the NRU reactor in Chalk River ON. Scientists from university departments of physics, chemistry, life sciences, earth sciences and engineering will have access to the Centre's suite of scientific equipment which are unique in Canada....
