A Drug Discovery Unit (DDU) has been created at the Univ of Montreal to accelerate the development of medications for the marketplace. The DDU is a novel collaboration between the Univ of Montreal's Institute for Research in Immunology, the University Research Group on Drug Discovery and the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Research Centre. More than 800 researchers in 75 teams are involved in the DDU which aims to establish partnerships with public and private sector stakeholders.
